Minecraft Xbox/Playstation: TU20 Horse Update

”The Horse Update is the name for Minecraft version 1.6.1, a major update released on July 1 2013. It added many new features such as horses, leads, coal blocks, carpets, resource packs and a new launcher.”

As you all probably already know is that 4jStudios are working at the moment on an update for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 that will be based of the Horse Update known from the PC. So this means that we will be getting Horses in the Next Big Update for the Console Edition of Minecraft which will hopefully come out in less than three months time. In the Horse update we didn’t only get horses. We also got some new items and blocks such as the leads, coal blocks, carpets, resource packs and a new launcher. We won’t be getting a New Launcher because that just wouldn’t make any sense and also we won’t be getting Resource Packs because that’s pretty much just the Same as Texture Packs. We already have Carpets on the Console Edition of Minecraft so we won’t get that in TU20 as well, but what we will be getting are leads and coal blocks and maybe even hay. A lead, also known as leashes, are items used to leash and lead passive mobs. They can be crafted with one slimeball and four strings. A Coal Block is a block that can be used as a fuel and can be crafted with nine coal. A Hay Bale are decorative, flammable blocks that can be fed to horses and can be crafted with nine wheat. So these are the blocks and items that we might be getting with the Horse Update.
